Plug jacks are miniature pins and sockets specifically designed for quick, tight, space-saving applications on printed circuits. They are available in a wide range of sizes, materials and finishes to meet virtually every requirement.
Solder Mounted Cage Jack
From: Cambion®
The Solder Mounted Cage Jack is made up of two components - a body and spring. Parts are inserted into the board and must be soldered into position to obtain electrical contact. The Solder Mounted Cage Jack has a mechanical tolerance of ±0.005. The body is made from Copper with finishes available in Gold over Nickel and Tin. The spring is available in heat treated Beryllium Copper with finishes available in Gold over Nickel and Tin over copper.
